John has 32 years of accounting experience, including four years with The Brems Group. He served as a partner there and managed its Coralville, Iowa, office until the firm merged with Honkamp in August 2024. His previous experience includes 13 years with BerganKDV, during which he opened the firm’s office in Coralville and directed its operations until his departure in 2020. John’s specialties include tax preparation and consulting, cost segregation, research and development credits, IRS representation, real estate and serving as a fractional CFO.
