Terry has more than 29 years of experience providing tax services, including 19 years in public accounting. Prior to joining Honkamp in 2024, he was a tax partner with two large national accounting firms serving middle market clients. His prior experience also includes serving as the tax director for a $900 million distribution company as well as a publicly traded energy company. Terry’s specialties include pass-through entity taxation, high net worth individual tax planning, and private equity/mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services.

Terry enjoys spending time with his daughters, Adrianna and Kiley, when they are home from college. He also enjoys anything outdoors, from fishing and boating to snow skiing. When he’s indoors, you will usually find Terry playing a guitar with his dog, Willie Nelson, lying nearby.
