HK Family of Companies implementing Dress for Your Day for Charity pilot program
February 1, 2017
The HK Family of Companies has announced a new pilot program for its employees called HK Dress for Your Day for Charity. As part of HK’s forward-thinking culture and dedication to community charities, employees will be able to dress in business casual attire February 1, 2017 through April 30, 2017, by providing a weekly donation to the HK Community Service Committee.
Along with formal business attire, casual attire such as polo shirts, solid leggings and jeans will be acceptable depending on an employee’s schedule for the day.
“This pilot program was designed to embrace a changing workplace environment and enhance our culture of giving back. We are excited about offering this opportunity to employees and blending it together with our community service initiatives,â€
Jenny Daughetee, CPA, PFS, HK administrative partner said.
HK has had a Friday Jeans Day for Charity program for several years, and this new pilot program is an extension in an effort to promote a more flexible work environment. In 2016, HK employees contributed almost $20,000 as part of the Friday Jeans Day program.
