Honkamp ranks among best places to work in Dubuque

Honkamp, P.C. has been named a top place to work in the Dubuque area.

Honkamp was one of 13 local businesses to be honored this week during a ceremony at Diamond Jo Casino.

The new program Best Places to Work in Dubuque honors businesses based on employee feedback surveys and an employer assessment. The program is presented by Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce and TH Media.

Honkamp is a CPA and business advisory group headquartered in Dubuque with approximately 300 employees. The firm also has been recognized as a Top Workplace in Iowa by the Des Moines Register for nine consecutive years.

“What differentiates Honkamp from others, especially in the accounting world, is our flexibility and our culture,” said President and CEO Katie Thomas in an interview with TH Media. “We’re very flexible about when employees work, and we encourage our employees to take time off so they don’t miss their important family events.”
