Honkamp recognized as one of 9 best places to work in Dubuque

Honkamp, P.C. has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in the Dubuque area for the second year in a row. 

Honkamp was one of 9 local businesses to be honored last week during a ceremony at Diamond Jo Casino.

The Best Places to Work in Dubuque program honors businesses based on employee feedback surveys and an employer assessment. The program is presented by Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce and TH Media.

Honkamp is a CPA and business advisory group headquartered in Dubuque with approximately 360 employees. The firm also has been recognized as a Top Workplace in Iowa by the Des Moines Register for 10 consecutive years.

President and CEO Katie Thomas emphasized Honkamp’s unique qualities, particularly within the accounting realm, stating, “What sets us apart is our emphasis on flexibility and our inclusive culture. We place a high importance on accommodating employees’ schedules and encourage them to prioritize their family commitments by taking time off when needed.”
